Plainfield, Indiana Generates Jobs for Hendricks County
Plainfield has the largest concentration of population in Hendricks County. Today, the town’s population exceeds 30,000, and its limits stretch from the Marion County line on the east into Liberty Township on the west and from County Road 100S in Washington Township on the north to south of I-70 on the south.
According to Robin Brandgard, Council President of Plainfield, Indiana, its been interesting to see the growth of Plainfield over the years. At the beginning of its economic development phase, the town of Plainfield developed an incentive package to attract businesses. Today, Plainfield employs over 40,000 people and embraces future growth, including facilities and people.
